Working for an industry-leading organisation based in Central Watford. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit an IT Developer (minimum of 3 years experience) to create new systems and to work with existing CRM software to automate and integrate processes.
Occupying a prime located office in the heart of Watford they currently have dynamic and innovative team of over 100 staff and are still growing!!!
Responsibilities
* Develop applications using key technologies (ASP.Net, VB.Net, Classic ASP, VB6, SQL Server) Maintain existing applications using above skills.
* Work with end users, managers and other staff to specify and develop innovative software solutions
* To ensure that allocated Change Requests are completed in a timely and effective fashion
* To work with other stakeholders on delivering successful projects within an Agile development methodology
* To provide 1st 2nd and 3rd line technical support
* Participate in functional testing, troubleshooting, configuration, deployment, documentation and preparation of training materials for the software
* Be a positive and motivated member of the development team.
* To carry out any other reasonable management requests
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years experience of web application development on Microsoft platforms.
* In-depth understanding and experience of the Microsoft .Net Framework.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of relational database systems (MS SQL Server 2005) and principles of Object Oriented programming.
* Track record of success through consistently producing work to a high and consistent standard.
* Self motivated and able to motivate others
