Orchard Recruitment was established in 1988. Originally known as Just Jobs, we changed our name to Orchard in 1998 to celebrate ten years of recruiting excellence and to convey our philosophy towards both our clients and candidates.
We obtained ISO 2001 accreditation in 1994, followed two years later by Investors in People. After obtaining re-accreditation of these two standards over the last ten years, we have developed our own integrated quality and staff development systems.
We believe that we have a "duty of care" to all those that we work with. For our candidates we endeavour to establish that the companies we recruit on behalf of are genuine, decent organisations that believe in the development of their staff, by offering appropriate training and career opportunities. In short, if we wouldn't recommend a close friend to work with a particular company…we won't recommend it to one of our applicants.
Likewise, we recognise that the future success of any business depends upon its ability to recruit and retain the very best staff that it can. We work incredibly hard at putting ourselves in our clients' shoes, understanding their business and finding the very best people that we can for them. Yes, we may be elitist in some people's eyes, but we only submit candidates to clients unless we'd hire them ourselves…..

Our latest office in Regent Street covers the West End; recruiting admin & support staff for the PR, media, marketing, consulting, property & business services sectors.
Our recruiters are professionally trained specialists. We work hard at supporting them with their career development; they attend REC approved training courses and are encouraged to take REC accredited qualifications. Graham Martin and Karen Leggett, two of our Directors, have over THIRTY years recruitment experience between them and continue to recruit at all levels.
Our Finance Director, Kate Jordan has been with us for over six years. We are proud that whilst the average experience of Recruiters in the UK is only nine months, many of our staff have been with us for many years!
