- Use no more than two pages
- Use plain white paper
- Do not use fancy fonts or borders
- Use a standard version of Word
- Do NOT put your photo on the CV unless it has been specifically requested
- Make sure there are NO spelling mistakes or grammatical errors
- Make sure that you explain any lapses or gaps in your career or education
- Your introductory paragraph should be FACTUAL; highlighting skills, achievements and experience; NOT a statement of your own opinion of yourself!
- Ensure your contact details are on EVERY page including any covering letter
- NEVER LIE!
